Will I need to pay GST, customs duty, or border fees on my New Zealand order?

For NZ$1,000 or less goods value, no customs duty or border entry fees are collected by the New Zealand Customs Service.

For over NZ$1,000 customs value, formal customs entry is required and the customer must pay 15% GST, applicable customs duties, and border processing fees such as the Import Entry Transaction Fee.
