Jäähdyttimen korkki

Start by checking the part number on your original radiator cap and your excavator's model and serial number. You should also confirm the required pressure rating, cap dimensions, and sealing design. Even if two caps look alike, they may not be interchangeable. We recommend checking the equipment's parts manual before selecting a replacement.

We recommend using the pressure rating specified by your equipment manufacturer. A cap with an incorrect rating may change how the cooling system maintains or releases pressure. Do not select a higher- or lower-pressure cap simply because it fits the radiator opening.

You can use your machine's manufacturer, model, and serial number to look up the specified radiator cap in the equipment parts manual. You should also confirm the required pressure rating and filler-neck design. If the information is incomplete, gather clear photos and measurements of the original cap and radiator neck before choosing a replacement.

Visible damage to the cap's seal, corrosion, or coolant leakage around the filler neck may indicate a problem. However, overheating or coolant loss can also have other causes. We recommend inspecting the cooling system and having the cap pressure-tested using the appropriate equipment when necessary.

Make sure the engine and cooling system are completely cool before removing the original cap. Check the radiator filler neck and sealing surfaces for damage or contamination, and confirm that the replacement matches the required specifications. Follow your equipment manufacturer's instructions for installation and cooling-system inspection.
