Save $ on Cat A/C compressor coil

This was a very good replacement for the Clutch coil on my Cat 320E. It fit right in place, I did have to cut the wiring pigtail off my old coil and solder it on to the wiring leads of the new coil with the correct polarity of the wires. But I figured I would have to do that, which was no big problem considering I was saving over $700 by not having to replace the complete A/C compressor assembly, plus time evacuating the system and recharging system. My old coil was blowing the 5 amp fuse that protected the HVAC controller, which also supplied power to the clutch coil. My old coil was pulling 7.8 amps and the new one was only pulling 1.7 amps. I will probably be using this product again if the need arises. Thanks Noel Madding
